Isaac Bohac grew up in a Christian home and at the age of seven accepted Christ in October 2007. Isaac was baptized at Independent Baptist Church, Clinton, Maryland. Savannah grew up in church and accepted Christ as her Savior August 10, 2014. She was baptized at High Point Independent Baptist Church in Elkridge, Maryland. Isaac and Savannah met at Independent Baptist Bible College as they completed their bachelor's degrees. They began courting in December 2022 and praying together about serving as church-planting missionaries in Guatemala. After a year of courting, they were married on December 16, 2023. Following their marriage, Isaac continued working on the pastoral staff of Independent Baptist Church, and Savannah continued teaching in the church's academy as the fourth-grade teacher. During a missions trip to the Dominican Republic in 2024, the Lord gave them peace concerning His will for them to serve in Guatemala. Isaac and Savannah began preparing with their pastor a survey trip for June 2025. During their survey trip, the Lord opened their eyes to the need in Guatemala City. Upon completing their deputation, Isaac and Savannah plan to start a church in the southern part of Guatemala City.
