Isaiah Lockwood #1723

When Isaiah was two years old, his family moved to Baja California Sur, Mexico, as missionaries. Isaiah trusted Christ as his Savior at age ten and was baptized at Iglesia Bautista de Insurgentes, Mexico. Soon after, Isaiah watched a video with his mom about the Shull Family to Greenland. He was amazed by one specific sentence, the Shulls were the only missionaries in Greenland! He knew the Shulls would never be able to reach every town and village. Many would never hear! At that point, God called Isaiah to be a missionary to Greenland. In 2014, his family came off the mission field, and in 2017 they became members of Shasta Baptist Church in Redding, California. In 2020, Isaiah attended Texas Independent Baptist Seminary and graduated in 2024 with his bachelor's degree in missions. During his senior year of college, he was able to intern in Juneau, Alaska, for four months and in Ilulissat, Greenland, for two months with the Shulls. After college, God directed Isaiah back home for a while to work at his home church and to help his family through a challenging time. Now he is actively pursuing God's will in missions.
