Ronn and Barbara Johnson are high school sweethearts from Buffalo, Minnesota and have been married for 46 years. Ronn was saved as a teenager in the Spring of 1973. Barbara was saved in July 1984. They have experienced 20 years with Ronn as an active-duty United States Marine, and another 24 years with Ronn working in support of the Marines at Quantico, Virginia. They have experienced two overseas tours on Okinawa, Japan, and were members of Maranatha Baptist Church during those two tours. They have been members at Heritage Baptist Church, Woodbridge, Virginia, since 1994. Ronn served as a deacon at Heritage for 22 years, and as an adult Sunday School teacher to newlywed couples for 24 years. While serving the Lord together as a family, Barbara worked at home raising four children and homeschooling them for 15 years. Their adult children (and in-law children) are born again Christians and have provided them with 18 grandchildren. They have served the Lord in numerous church and school ministries during their 46 years of marriage and are still involved in service, discipleship, teaching, and visitation ministries at Heritage Baptist Church. With their 24 years of working with newlywed couples and with the Lord burdening their hearts to give back to military mission works, they are now serving as Associate Missionaries with Baptist International Missions Inc. (BIMI) providing on-site support to BIMI pastors in their overseas military churches. Their emphasis is toward family and marriage conferences, trusting the Lord to provide them with opportunities to meet needs in each church.
