Aaron and Kristia were saved as young children and baptized at Freedom Baptist Church in Southern Ohio. They were both blessed to be raised in Christian homes with Kristia being raised in a pastor's home. They remained friends throughout their years in school. God brought them together as husband and wife in 1994 after they finished their college and medical programs.
From the start, Aaron and Kristia had a desire and burden to serve God with their lives and raise a Godly family. As they prayed for direction, God led them to Crown college for formal Bible training. During the time they lived in Tennessee God blessed them with four children. Over the years, Aaron and Kristia have been involved in Spanish ministries as well as various other ministries in the churches where they were members.
Aaron has always enjoyed teaching, preaching, and witnessing, and Aaron and Kristia have enjoyed serving together. After visiting the field of South America in 2021 with the Amazon for Christ medical ministry, God made it clear to them that He was leading them to the foreign field to use both their Bible and medical training to reach the lost.
They will serve as church-planting missionaries in the Amazon Basin of Colombia, Brazil, and Peru. Their initial plan is to establish an independent Baptist church in Leticia, Colombia, and work from that area to assist other missionaries and national pastors in towns and villages along the Amazon River. They will also continue to work with the Amazon for Christ medical trips. These trips are a proven way God has used to open the hearts of the native people through compassionate care of their physical needs. Please pray for them as they raise support to minister in one of the most diverse and unreached places in the world.
