Chuck and Susan Sligh are both graduates of Tennessee Temple University (Susan in 1974 and Chuck in 1977). They have been missionaries with BIMI since June 1982. The Slighs served as missionaries to the U.S. Military in Germany for 10 years in Wiesbaden, Germany, 7 years in a church to national British people (and some military at RAF Croughton) in Bicester England, and 20 years in Grafenwoehr, Germany, where they planted a church to the U.S. Military and German nationals. All three churches are still in existence.
Chuck served as an associate pastor for 5 years and taught high school for 1 year before surrendering to the mission field. Susan taught school at the elementary, secondary, and college levels for 10 years in the classroom before the Slighs went to the mission field and 13 years of homeschooling. Susan also served as the administrative assistant, led the ladies’ ministries, and recruited volunteers for nursery and children’s ministries in the churches Chuck pastored.
