Mike & Sarah King #1722

Mike grew up in a Christian home to parents active in ministry at Midwestern Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska. As a teen, he fell into the wrong crowd. Only by God's grace, Mike turned to the Lord for salvation at age 18 and was baptized at Midwestern Baptist in 1998. Sarah was born and raised in rural Minnesota to a loving, yet non-Christian family. She was reached through a campus ministry, saved at age 25, and baptized at Fargo Baptist Church. God brought Mike and Sarah together at Midwestern Baptist Church and they were married in 2017. Mike has served 25 years in bus ministry, choir, and special music; 15 years as Sunday school teacher; and 8 years as deacon. Mike also started an All Nations Discipleship Class and an India Outreach Ministry. Sarah has served in Campus and Refugee Ministry, VBS, nursery, teen girl ministry, and bus ministry. She taught in a Christian school, organized meal trains, and managed a church social media page. Sarah's main ministry is the home. Mike and Sarah will welcome their sixth child January 2026. God confirmed His call to Mike and Sarah for missions and has led them step-by-step to the needy field of Cambodia.
