Haiti - Caribbean

The country of Haiti is considered to be one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere. It is located on the western one-third of the Island of Hispanola. It is estimated that this country has about 7 million people. Creole is the common language spoken, and French is the official language used. The island claims to be 80% Catholic and 16% Protestant, however, one-half of the population practices Voodoo. Prepare for spiritual warfare.

There is a great need to evangelize and teach the Word of God. Pray with us that some would answer the call of the Lord to go and labor for souls in Haiti.
