Olivia loves sharing her testimony because it always reminds her of how blessed she is and reminds her of the verse that helped her see that she can serve God through missions. In 2 Timothy 2:2 we read, And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. The Lord blessed Olivia with a family who went to church every Sunday. Her father led her to the Lord at the age of six. She was able to understand that the Lord had taken her punishment from sin and that He was her Lord whom she could serve and trust. Olivia was baptized a year later, understanding that baptism was a step of obedience to God’s Word. Every Christian is called to tell others about Christ and this was something she had surrendered to do when she was a young teenager, but her definite surrender to missions was not until her first year of college. The book of 2 Timothy charges her to take what the Lord has done in her life and share it with others so they too can know about His love and sacrifice. Miss West plans to locate in Timișoara. She will work with veteran BIMI missionaries Tim and Debra Tyler in the church as well as in the Bible college. Timișoara is a university city; therefore, Olivia will have access to formal language training.
