The Ministry
We are the Furan family, serving in Derry, Northern Ireland. After several years of ministry in the United States, the Lord led us to this region, where we now labor alongside a national pastor to see a strong, healthy church established.
The Need
Derry is a city marked by deep religious and cultural division, where many have little understanding of the Gospel. Yet it is a place where God is at work. What began as a small group has grown severalfold in both attendance and giving, as the church continues to mature and take ownership of the work. Through faithful, long-term ministry and teamwork, we are seeing steady growth and an increasing impact in the community.
Our Vision
Our desire is to see this church become fully indigenous-self-supporting, self-governing, self-propagating, and reproducing-to practically serve as a base for planting churches throughout the northwest border region of both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
What We Do
• Faithful weekly preaching and teaching
• Personal evangelism and cultural adaptation
• Discipleship and spiritual growth
• Training and equipping national believers for leadership
• The planting of strong, healthy churches across the region
Life and Ministry
The field is not easy, but it has truly become home for our family. Many are resistant to the Gospel, and spiritual progress is often slow. Yet we are confident that God is building His church, and we are grateful to labor here for His glory.
We are raising our four daughters-Macey, Milani, and twins Noelle and Natallie-praying that our family would reflect Christ in both life and ministry.
Sending Church
We are grateful to be sent out of Franklin Road Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee under Pastor Joel Norris.
