"Caleb and Abbey Turner, along with their two children, Carson and Madelyn, are missionaries to the country of Uganda. They arrived on the field in November of 2021 and are currently living in the City of Fort Portal where they started their first church, Hope Baptist! Caleb was raised on the mission field in British Columbia, Canada. His parents, Pastor Ben and Becky Turner, are still faithfully serving God at the Anchor Baptist Church in Burnaby, BC. Abbey was raised in a Sunday school teacher's home in Indiana. Her parents, Steve and Monica Williams, are still faithfully serving God at the Greenwood Bible Baptist Church in Greenwood, IN. Caleb and Abbey both attended and graduated from Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, CA. This is also where they met. They were married in December of 2017, and welcomed their son in December of 2018. After completing linguistics school in Bowie, TX, the Turners moved their family of three to Uganda in November of 2021. After spending their first term learning from some of the veteran missionaries in the Pearl of Africa, the Turners returned to North America in 2024 for their first furlough. While stateside, the Turners were blessed with the arrival of their daughter in March of 2025. That summer, the Turners returned to Uganda and began making plans to move to the City of Fort Portal. God allowed them to start Hope Baptist Church in March of 2026 and they are very excited to see what God will do in the coming years!
