R Elijah Westlake #1730

Elijah was born into a ministry family that emphasized the Gospel and serving the Lord. He was saved at five years old and was baptized at Corinth Baptist Church in Logansville, Georgia. He surrendered to missions work right before college. After a missions trip to Burkina Faso, the Lord confirmed his call to the continent of Africa. He is engaged to be married to Shaylie Moore in August. Shaylie was also blessed to grow up in a home that desired to serve the Lord. From an early age, she knew that she wanted to grow closer to Christ and to serve Him. She was saved at nine years old and baptized at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She attended West Coast Baptist College, Lancaster, California, and earned a degree in secondary education. Elijah met Shaylie at West Coast Baptist College. The two bonded over a love for missions and the goodness of the Lord. The Lord made it evident that they were meant for each other and would help each other better serve the Lord.
