Description of the location:
Uganda, known as the "Pearl of Africa," offers a vibrant and deeply receptive landscape for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Woven from more than 50 distinct tribes, its culture is a beautiful tapestry of traditional kingdoms that form a deep sense of community and hospitality where strangers are readily embraced as family. This warmth is mirrored in the Ugandan people themselves—a remarkably youthful and energetic population eager for mentorship, education, and purpose. Set in a tropical climate that features sun-drenched savannas, refreshing equatorial rains, and fertile green hills nurtured by the waters of the Nile and Lake Victoria, the environment feels alive with growth and possibility. Yet, beneath this natural and cultural wealth lies a profound spiritual and practical need; while Christianity is widely professed, there is a critical hunger for the true Gospel, discipleship and leadership training. For future missionaries, Uganda stands as an open, fertile field where the climate is welcoming, the people are ready, and the opportunity to make a significant impact is definite!

Description of the trip:
This mission trip will help you to experience missionary life and ministry from both an urban as well as a rural perspective. You will experience the full spectrum of Africa ministry through the excitement of a new church plant, together with the opportunities of established ministries that include a Christian school and a Bible college. Be prepared to preach, teach, sing and evangelize at every turn. Then the thrill of a real Africa Safari will amaze you as we tour one of the national parks and enjoy seeing the Africa wildlife in their natural habitat. You will not want to miss this opportunity!

*Note - The trip will start on the East Coast - probably Atlanta or Washington DC. We will determine this according to the cost the closer we get to the time of departure. Each person will be responsible to arrive at the meeting place at their own expense. Travel to the meeting point before the trip and then back home after the trip is not included in the cost of the trip.
